400-gram pomegranate seeds
2 table spoon ghee
50-gram dry fruits (Cashew, almonds)
200 ml water
2 pinch red food colour (optional)
20-gram fresh grated coconut
How to make:
Grind pomegranate seeds to a fine paste in a mixer grinder jar. Heat ghee in a frying pan & roast dry
fruit. now add pomegranate juice, water & food colour and allow to cook for 10 minutes. Add khoya
& sugar. mix it well. when start to thickens add fresh coconut. stir continuously. cook for 10 – 12
minutes. now switch off the gas. garnish with dry fruits. halwa is ready.
You can eat this in fast also but when you cook it for fasting do not use food colour.
